Designed and built by hand exclusively for Music for Liberia, this historically-inspired, fully functioning five-string gourd banjo is a one-of-a kind item. Made by a luthier in Jamaica, and based on 18th Century Afro-Caribbean instruments, the star of Music for Liberia's Summer Auction is an awe-inspiring piece of musical craftsmanship.
